2022 Penghu County Enviornment Education Project

The 2022 Environmental Education Project Plan in Penghu County consists of eight sub-plans. Based on the Environmental Protection Administration's "Green Life" initiative and the theme of the "Environmental Year" in Penghu County in 2022 year, the execution team has planned the implementation of this year's work. The main theme for this year is "Sustainable Green Life Action." Continuing the three appeals of "Protecting the Environment," "Using Local Resources," and "Valuing Resources" under the "Green Life for All" initiative, the team has developed a plan with three main aspects: "Public Empowerment," "Cross-Disciplinary Action," and "Sustainable Management." Through the eight sub-plans of this project, the team has divided them into three main work items: "Sustainable Management of Environmental Education," "Public Empowerment of Environmental Education," and "Cross-Disciplinary Action of Environmental Education." By cultivating positive environmental attitudes and action abilities, accumulating environmental knowledge, and putting it into practice, combined with the power of the local environmental education community in Penghu, the team actively promotes and increases the energy of environmental education among residents of one city and five townships of various ages and organizations in the county, in order to enhance their environmental education literacy and practice green living and achieve the vision of sustainable development. The project began on February, 2022 and ended on November 30,2022. By using various sub-plans, the execution team has linked relevant environmental education organizations, facilities, sites with teaching potential, personnel involved in the community environmental investigation and renovation project in the jurisdiction, and communities involved in environmental education promotion to enhance the effectiveness of environmental education promotion in the jurisdiction and establish an environmental education promotion platform to facilitate the use of environmental education resources. During the execution of this year's project, the youth summer camp, national volunteer eco-group assembly, and picture book promotion have been recognized and affirmed by participants. Additionally, during the community project, the Longmen Community Environmental School has achieved excellent evaluations in the end-of-term Environmental Protection Administration exhibition through continuous support and promotion. All sub-plans of the environmental education promotion plan were completed according to the schedule and implemented and executed in stages, with a 100% achievement rate for all work items.
